Intro in to Carb Cycling

Carb cycling is my favourite method for cutting weight and maintaining my current physique while allowing me to indulge in whatever I am craving for, in moderation, of course. I live my daily life according to this method. Carb cycling is nothing new, it has been around for many years and is often used by bikini fitness competitors to get lean and shredded.

What is carb cycling?

Carb cycling is an eating method where you alternate between low-carb days and high-carb days. The higher carb days usually mean an intake of more calories and is needed to refuel the body.

Carb cycling is not an opportunity to eat all the carbs in sight or carbo load on your refuel days, it is merely a trick to soothe you and prevent you from feeling like you are being deprived of carbs, even though you’re not. There are carbs in some sauces you may use and even in veggies and fruit. Carbs are not the enemy and can actually be used as a weight loss tool.
