These are the women who make RushTush great. The women behind the brand. I wanted this tribute to showcase these wonder women, shine light on their continued hard work and strong minds. Without them RushTush would be nothing. Here is some insight on what empowers them and more about what they do within the machine of the beast.

Your pet peeve?
The sound of people eating and drinking and anything in between. Basically any sound coming out of someone’s mouth that’s not words.
Also, heavy (nose) breathers.
As a female, what do you think has been the biggest barrier in your career?
Trying not to live to the (already there expectation) of just being a women – basically having to act more like a man to be taken seriously, but also not too much, because then you’re too serious/aggressive. Being under-minded and stereotyped, just for being a woman.
Has becoming a mother changed the way you feel as a woman in SA?
Yes it has. I have a responsibility to raise my son, to be a man that respects women and their rights. He knows as a 5 year old already, that he can say no to hugging or kissing someone hello. That he can wave good-bye to a girl in his class who said no when he ASKED if he could hug her. I walk in fear, because of the abuse by the hands of men and I don’t want any one to feel like that because of a child I raised.
Why is woman equality so important?
We have the same, if not more responsibilities as men, so why not?
What roles do you as a woman feel are outdated in 2021?
Thinking that being a “Proverbs 31” women can’t be adapted and modernised, for today’s working/breadwinning woman.
Do you consider yourself a modern woman?
Yes.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing women, especially those who have REALLY struggled get the results they worked so hard for, literally have their lives changed.
What is your least favourite thing about your job?
Urgh. Unprovoked, rude, and entitled people. Greeting and saying please and thank you is almost a myth sometimes.
What is your favourite RushTush product?
It’s a tie between the Gluc Support, which has significantly decreased the swelling in my body and the Hydrolyzed Collagen, which has assisted with scars and hormonal acne.
