TEEN INACTIVE GLOW
Teen Inactive Glow is a specialised eating plan for teenagers who live a sedentary lifestyle. Many kids are faced with different physical challenges and may not be able to move as much as needed. I felt the need to create an easy to follow educational eating plan for older children and teenagers who might be insecure with their body image. It is important that the growing developing bodies and minds are nourished with quality nutrients while achieving the goal of a healthy weight. This four week plan is easy to follow with many fun recipes your teen can make at home for themselves, friends and other family members.
In Teen Inactive Glow we cover the importance of macro nutrients like carbohydrates and proteins while educating teens to understand that food is fuel. We cover beverages and the importance of calcium for bone development, independent eating choices and eating out.
I wanted to create a plan that would lay a solid foundation for kids and teens around the importance of balanced eating, so that you can educate and empower your children and teens with knowledge about food being medicine and thus create positive habits to carry with them for a lifetime.
We also cover pre-teens as well as how to eat for boys vs girls. This eating plan is suitable for pre-teens ages 9-13 years old and beyond. It’s also a lovely meal plan for the whole family.
